Chantelle Doswell, LCSW
Chantelle is a licensed clinical social worker who works to integrate music creation, writing, and theater into therapeutic work; providing ways to reduce distress caused by things such as depression, anxiety, and trauma. Experienced in working with multi-problem children, adults and families with complex needs, she is skilled in a variety of counseling techniques- including Trauma Work, EDMR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, Deep Breathing, Progressive Relaxation, and Anti-Racist and Womanist Therapies.
In addition to her role at Ordinary Healing, Chantelle serves as an adjunct professor at Columbia University School of Social Work -teaching Direct Practice with Individuals, Families, and Groups- and a clinical supervisor at an alternative to incarceration program. Jacqueline Powell, CAT
Jacqueline is a professionally trained dancer and dance therapist who has experience working with both youth and adults in various communities. She is trained in various modalities including modern, jazz, aerial dancing and movement therapy. She is dedicated to providing clients with responsive and compassionate care and is well versed in use of movement-therapies and interventions to support healing of past traumas, depression, anxiety, and to strengthen body-mind connection.
